It was my pleasure to capture the story of Helen and Ben’s wedding last Saturday, at the Towers Hotel in Jersey Marine, Swansea, South Wales, UK.
This was my first wedding of 2010 and the weather for a winter wedding was absolutely fantastic, with clear blue skies and dry conditions all day! Fingers crossed the rest of this year stays like this?
The story of the day began at Helen’s parent’s home in Swansea with Helen’s preparations, before I made the short trip to St. Samlets church in Llansamlet where I met Ben and his groomsmen.
After a beautiful church ceremony we made the short journey to the Towers Hotel in Jersey Marine on the edge of Swansea bay, with it’s iconic Tower holding a fantastic bridal suite at the very top.
As the guests arrived for the reception we toured the grounds for 20 minutes for some bride and groom photos, and then went straight into the group and family shots, making the most of the winter afternoon sunshine.
We then headed inside to the main suite for the wedding breakfast, which was followed by cake cutting and speeches.
