| Nic is a multi award-winning wedding and portrait photographer who's work is published world-wide on a regular basis, and who regularly contributes to national Bridal Magazines across the UK. He has extensive experience in designing and delivering training courses and mentoring workshops, and has quickly established a much sought after reputation in the field of wedding and location portrait photography in the UK, from his base on the South Wales coast. Nic offers aspiring wedding photographers the opportunity to accompany him on a real wedding, gaining invaluable 'hands-on' experience in this extremely competitive field of social photography and on Nic's uniquely unobtrusive approach. The aim of the course is to provide you with a full and honest insight into everything connected with running a successful contemporary wedding photography business, to ensure that you are prepared to offer only the best to your own future clients. Strictly limited to one attendee per wedding, the day will start at our studio where Nic will run through the plan for the day and answer any general questions you may have. We then leave for the bridal preparations, followed by the wedding ceremony and ending with coverage of the wedding reception, usually including the speeches after the meal. Nic's wedding days are long and tiring, but afterwards there will be the opportunity to return to the office with Nic for a debrief and review of the days images. Throughout the day at appropriate times, Nic will be able to answer any questions you might have and of course will be able to point out the little 'tips and tricks' that set his style and way of working apart from his competitors. Most people prefer to simply shadow and observe Nic as he works, asking questions when the opportunity arises, however you are welcome to bring along your own equipment if you would like the opportunity to photograph discretely, some candid sections of the day. At the end of the debrief you will be allowed to take away with you ten of your own digital images on a CD for use in your portfolio if you wish. The cost of the day is £295 plus VAT, with any further days charged at £195 plus VAT. Obviously spaces are limited and available dates book up quickly, so we ask for full payment at the time of booking. Training days are of course run with the full permission of our bride and grooms.
