It was my pleasure to capture the story of Helen and Jame’s wedding day last Friday at The Vale Hotel & Spa in Hensol near Cardiff, South Wales.
The story of the day started with some photos of Helen getting ready with her daughter Fran (who I’ve photographed several times over the years,) and her Mum and Dad. I then met James and his best man for a few quick photos before the ceremony started in the conservatory.
After a beautiful civil ceremony we captured a few family and group photos while everyone enjoyed their drinks in the gardens bathed in sunshine, before Helen and James took a 20 minute tour of the grounds for some lovely bride and groom photos on their own.
The children enjoyed racing up and down the finely manicured lawns, which made for some great reportage photos, before we all moved inside for the reception and wedding breakfast, preceded with cake cutting, and followed with the speeches.

We are absolutely delighted with the album – its just so much more that than we expected !
It will be such a lovely keepsake for Francesca in time and James and I will be able to look back to what was a truly special day for us.
