It was my pleasure to capture the story of Claire and Philip’s wedding last Saturday at the Newhouse Country Hotel in Thornhill near Cardiff.
The story of the day began with Claire getting ready at her parent’s home in Pentyrch before moving through the village to St. Catwgs church for the ceremony.
After the service Claire and Philip visited a private school for their bride and groom photos. This secret location was used for their pre-wedding shoot last month and we were only allowed to visit it with special permission from the school. After 30 minutes with the grounds to ourselves we left for the short journey to the Newhouse Country Hotel, in Thornhill just outside Cardiff for the wedding reception.
Guests were waiting outside for Claire and Philip, so the group photos were quickly captured, allowing the guests to go back to enjoying the afternoon. Claire and Philip took a brief tour of the grounds with me for a few more bride and groom photos, and then headed inside for the wedding breakfast, followed by speeches and cake cutting.
