Swansea wedding photos at Norton House Hotel Mumbles, from South Wales wedding photographer Nic Cleave Photography

It was my pleasure to capture the story of Ross and Laura’s wedding last Saturday at Norton House Hotel in Mumbles, Swansea South Wales UK.

The story of the day started with Laura’s preparations at her parent’s home in Sketty, where Laura got ready with her four bridesmaids and Mum and Dad.

I then made the short trip down the hill to the Swansea sea front, and on to beautiful Clyne Chapple, nestled next to the beautiful Clyne Gardens. I met Ross and his best man and ushers in the nearby pub, before walking up the short lane to the church.

Laura arrived with her Dad in a soft-top beetle, after the bridesmaids had earlier arrived in a VW camper van, and the ceremony began. After the ceremony and a chance for the guests to cover Laura and Ross in confetti, we took a brief walk around the stunning Clyne Gardens for Ross and Laura’s bride and groom photos. The gardens are always at their best in the month of May and they didn’t disappoint, with colours everywhere.

After 20 minutes in the gardens and with pollen levels rising, we headed back to the cars and made the short trip to Mumbles premiere wedding venue, the lovely Norton House Hotel. Laura’s brother Gareth was great at assembling all of the guests outside for a few group photos, which were quickly concluded in about 15 minutes, just as spots of rain started to fall, threatening a heavy shower.

Laura and Ross were later announced into their wedding breakfast which started with Laura’s Dad’s speech, followed by a fantastic meal (thanks guys, the lamb was out of this world,) and concluded with Ross and best man Lee’s speeches, before ending with cake cutting.

If you were at this wedding and/or know this lovely couple, please leave Ross and Laura a personal message below. You can view all of the wonderful images from this special day for the next four weeks here.
