It was my pleasure to capture the story of Nicola and Robert’s wedding last Saturday at St. David’s Hotel overlooking Cardiff Bay, in Cardiff South Wales.
The story of the day started when I met Robert (a former Welsh international rugby player,) with the guys at a pub near St. Mary’s church in Merthyr Tydfil.
Nicola’s bridesmaid (sister Emma,) was a bride of ours last year in November, so it was lovely to meet the family again on Saturday.
After a church ceremony in the ‘Cathedral of the Valleys’ we made the trip down the A470 towards Cardiff and St. David’s Hotel in the Cardiff Bay area, overlooking the sea for the wedding reception.
After a few carefully selected group photos Nicola and Robert took a short tour of the hotel grounds and surrounding nature reserve area for their bride and groom photos.
We then headed back inside for the wedding breakfast followed by cake cutting and some very funny speeches.
