It was my pleasure to photograph the wedding of Claire and Mark on Saturday December 11th 2010 at beautiful Sketty Hall in Swansea, South Wales.
After photographing Claire getting ready with her bridesmaids and parents at home in Pontardawe Swansea, we moved on to nearby St. Michael’s Church in Trebanos for the service.
After the service we made our way down into Swansea towards Sketty Hall, but stopped off on the seafront for some fantastic bride and groom shots, with moody, overcast and dramatic skies.
After our walk along the prom it was back into the cars for the short trip along the seafront to Sketty Hall, where we managed to take all the group shots outside too!
After a brief warm-up inside, Claire and Mark wanted to make the most of the weather and the fading light, with a short walk around the grounds of Sketty Hall and surrounding Singleton Park. We then headed back inside for speeches quickly followed by the meal.

From the first time we met Nic we just loved his relaxed, informal approach. On our wedding day he was totally organised and professional and yet wonderfully unobtrussive taking a great combination of formal and those lovely ‘caught off guard’ shots. His friendly and cheerful manner made the entire experience – from our first meeting through to selecting shots for the album – a real pleasure.
Nic’s style and approach both on the day and in the finished album drew so many compliments – in fact our bridesmaid booked him for her wedding next year!
Nic, the album is everything we imagined and more. It is the most fantastic momento of an incredible day….Thank you so much for everything!!
