It was my pleasure to capture the story of Katy and Marc’s wedding on Saturday the the Manor House, part of the Celtic Manor Resort in Newport, South Wales.
The story of the day began with Katy’s's preparations at her parent’s home in Cardiff, before I made the short trip along the M4 towards the Celtic Manor to meet Marc and his best man and ushers at the Lodge. The boys were resplendent in red Welsh tartan kilts and enjoying the warm-up to the main event in the July sunshine.
Katy arrived in a stretch Limosine with her parents and bridesmaids before a civil ceremony in the Manor Suite at the Lodge. Afterwards, welcome drinks were served on the patio in the glorious sunshine, before we assembled guests together for a few relaxed group photos.
Nest we took a tour of the grounds for some bride and groom photos, including a walk through the massive hotel complex into the main reception area and on to the bridal suite with it’s own views over the 2010 Ryder Cup Golf Course.
A short walk back through the hotel found us once again at the Manor suite in time for the wedding breakfast, speeches and cake cutting.
