It was my pleasure to capture the story of Amy and Carl’s wedding on Saturday in Tenby, Carmarthenshire, South Wales.
The story of the day started in Laugharne at Amy’s parent’s home with her preparations, before moving on along the coast to St Margaret’s church in Pendine for a church service, why I met Carl and his groomsmen who had arrived on a vintage red double decker bus.
The hill fog and persistent rain didn’t dampen the spirits as Amy arrived, with the fantastic assorted colours of the bridesmaids adding a spalsh of colour to the proceedings.
After the ceremony, the rain meant that plans for bride and groom photos on Pendine Sands had to be cancelled, so we made our way back along the coast to the popular seaside resort of Tenby, and the Heywood Mount Hotel, for the wedding reception.
The rain let up for 30 minutes allowing us to grab some quick group photos outside, but ended things with a quick retreat back inside to the warmth and comfort.
The wedding breakfast was followed by a colourful cake cutting and the speeches, a perfect end to the day before evening guests started to arrive.
