| Award-winning location family portrait photography Our award-winning location based lifestyle family portrait photography will capture you and your family in a beautiful and relaxed way. Our goal is to produce a series of images that will tell the story of your lives at this point in time...forever. Specialists with newborns, babies and young children but also with families couples and groups of friends. When it's dry we can photograph you either at an outdoor location of your choice (like your favourite beach or park,) or at home in your own garden. When it's wet or duing the winter months we can photograph you inside your home, using a mixture of simple backgrounds and our unique 'continuous lighting system.' Both situations produce stunning natural photographs of you and your family that are very different from the old fashioned 'formal' or 'wooden' studio portraits taken in a highstreet studio situation. What are the advantages of a location based lifestyle family portrait session? * Working outdoors ensures that any children photographed are able to play naturally in a familiar environment, producing stunning images that the rest of the family will love. * Our unique continuous indoor lighting system allows us to photograph newborns, babies and young children without the horrible distraction of high powered flash lights distracting them, which again ensures that the resulting images are as natural as can be. * We come to you so there's no need to drive into the centre of a busy town or city, find a place to park and then locate our studio with young children. * There are no time or photograph limits imposed on your session with us. We book either the whole morning, afternoon or evening for each client. Most sessions last 1-3 hours but can last longer if you're still having fun. * We do not provide the old fashioned 'wooden' or 'formerly posed' style of photos, which were popular in the 1970's and 80's and are still produced in many traditional highstreet portrait studios. * Because we work more naturally and young children/babies are comfortable in their own environments surrounded by their favourite toys etc, our portrait sessions are designed to be fun! We often have clients coming to us who have tried a studio portrait session but found that the unfamiliar and alientating environment meant that their children were uncomfortable and camera shy to the point where none of the images resulted in any natural or happy expressions. * Because we are not based in a studio environment there is no 'high pressure selling' for our clients. After the session you simply choose as many or as few prints as you require, with no minimum order required or expected for our clients, and only a 3 print minium order required of their family and friends. * Read what our clients have said about us here. The certificate costs £78.99 and includes a luxury presenation gift box and postage to the recipient. They can then use the certificate to pay for a complete location lifestyle family portrait session, which can be arranged at any time within the following 12 months. Hair and Make-over? We can arrange for a professional hair and make-up stylist to come along to our session if you would like to be fully made-up and pampered before the session begins. How it works 1) The session: We travel to your home or preferred outside location on the agreed date to meet and photograph you. Our sessions are always informal and above all, designed to be fun for everyone involved. At the beginning of the session we will find out more about why you are having the photos taken, and importantly discuss with you the display options available. How you intend to display the finished photos from the session can have a big impact on how you are photographed, so it's vital that we understand for instance, that you intend to order just one single block mount print, or would like a 24 x 20 inch collage framed print, or perhaps that you simply require a handful of 10 x 8 inch unframed prints. We will of course bring along samples of all the different display options available, so that you can see how they look when they are finished. We charge a small session fee of £75 (payable on the day,) to cover our set-up costs and the time we are with you. This session fee also includes a free CD slide show of all your proof images and a password protected on-line proof gallery to allow you to select your favourites, (both last for four weeks before expiring.) As a guide, our experience has shown us that on average a location session can take from 1 to 2 hours, depending upon your requirements, the size of the group to be photographed and the variety of shots requested etc. Because we book the whole morning, afternoon or evening for you, you are of course free to take as long as you need. We take an unlimited number of photographs during your session and you will get to see all of them. (Payment of the session fee is due at the end of the session, payable in either cash or by cheque. Mileage after 30 miles is charged at 55p per mile.) 2) Previewing and selecting your images: Within a few days your photographs are usually available for previewing. We create a digital slide show and upload all the photos from your session to a private page of our website. Viewing the slide show is simple and each image has a unique file number. Anyone with a broadband internet connection will then be able to view all of the photos from your session and even order prints themselves directly from us. We also supply all of the photographs from your session on a 'proof CD' as a digital slide show which will play on your home computer, so that you may select your favourites from the comfort of your own home. (Proof CD's and on-line proof slide shows will expire after 30 days) 3) Ordering your prints: After you have reviewed your session photographs and made your choices, the next stage is to select your prints and perhaps one or more of our luxury frames or canvasses and block mount prints to protect your memories. You are free to select as many or as few prints, frames and canvasses or block mounts as you require. We don't 'hard sell' like the high street chain portrait stores, as the quality of our work sells itself. Our clients are free to purchase as many or as few images as they like, (with family and friends required to purchase a minimum of 3 prints per order.) When you're ready to select your favourites simply complete our order form and return it to us with your payment. We will then further process your selected prints and send them off to our lab for printing as soon as possible and custom order your frames and canvasses as required. We will get your order processed as quickly as possible so that you have your prints back in no time at all. Display options Un-framed Prints: Once you have selected your favourite images you are free to purchase as many as you require. Prints from your portrait session are machine printed on superior quality archival photographic paper (or artist grade canvas,) using traditional wet paper and chemicals. They are prepared to order by our professional laboratory to incredibly high standards. They are guaranteed for 75+ years and make great gifts for family and friends.
