It was my pleasure to photograph the Halloween themed wedding of Vicki and Nicky on Saturday October 30th, at the beautiful Oxwich Bay Hotel, one of my favourite Gower wedding venues.
After capturing Vicki getting ready at her Mum’s house in Swansea, we moved on to St. Thomas Church in Swansea for the ceremony. Nicky arrived in a red Ferrari before being joined by his two best men and ushers, ahead of Vicki’s arrival with her brother.
After the ceremony, we made our way through Swansea towards Gower, stopping off at the ruins of Oxwich Castle for some photos of Vicki and Nicky on their own. After 30 minutes exploring the castle we made our way down to the marquee at the Oxwich Bay Hotel for the wedding reception.
A few carefully selected group shots were followed by a walk along the beach for Vicki and Nicky, to reach the sand dunes for a few more photos on their own and some fun with Vicki’s fantastic vail.
By the time we arrived back at the marquee the pumpkins were alight and the marquee had a spooky Halloween theme, a perfect end to a great late October day on Gower.
