It was my pleasure to capture the story of Lee-Ann and James’ wedding day last Saturday at Norton House Hotel in Mumbles, Swansea Bay South Wales.
The story of the day started with Lee-Ann getting ready at the hotel with her bridesmaids. I then met James and his best men who were also getting ready at the hotel and we went outside into the glorious September sunshine for some images that look like they could have been taken in Miami!
A civil wedding ceremony at Norton House was followed by welcome drinks outside, a perfect opportunity for the few group shots required. James and Lee-Ann then headed down to the Mumbles seafront with their bridal party, for a few more casual and relaxed group shots with their friends. We had great fun as the Mumbles train passed the wedding party and at Lee-Ann’s request managed to capture a great group ‘jumping’ shot, before heading back to Norton House.
Lee-Ann and James were then driven to Caswel Bay for their bride and groom photos. A fantastic location for these images, but as this had been the first sunny day for many weeks, everyone else in Wales was also at the coast, making the short 10 minute drive a more stressfull half-an hour return!
The wedding breakfast was followed by cake cutting and speeches before the evening guests started to arrive.
