It was my pleasure to capture the story of Kate and Philip’s ‘Winter Wonderland’ wedding on Wednesday December 22nd 2010, at the stunning King Arthur Hotel which was covered in snow.
The eight inches of snow and ice still on the ground from the recent snowfall, was complemented perfectly by a crisp clear blue sky.
After a church service at the Soar Congregational Chapple we made our way down to the King Arthur Hotel on Gower for the reception. Met with even more snow, the picturesque journey took a little longer than usual, but the winter wonderland scenery made up for the lost time.
On arrival at the King Arthur Kate and Philip braved the cold for a short walk around the beautiful lake and gardens where we were able to create a stunning set of bride and groom photos in the snow.
A few carefully selected group shots followed, outside in the cold but sunny conditions, before everyone headed inside for the warmth and food.
