It was my pleasure to capture the story of Wendy and Ian’s wedding last Sunday at Hurst House in Laugharne, Carmarthenshire.
This was the first civil ceremony ever to be held at Hurst House, a new Camrathenshire wedding venue and Ian and Wendy planned the complete day in just six weeks!
The story of the day started with a few getting ready shots before Wendy met Ian in the hotel to walk in to the ceremony together. After a beautiful civil ceremony the guests enjoyed drinks in the garden while I followed Wendy and Ian down to the beach and sand dunes close by for their bride and groom shots.
A hot day was producing storym clouds out to sea, perfect for some moody and dramatic imagery. After about 20 minutes walking through the sand dunes and on the beach, Wendy and Ian returned to the car and headed back to Hurst House for their wedding reception in the conservatory, followed by cake cutting and speeches.
