What's your style of photography?

Nic's photographic style can be described as 'unobtrusive, creative- documentary.' Basically this means he photographs the 'natural' story of your day using an unobtrusive and creative approach, and combines this with some highly creative 'signature' shots of the bride and groom together, showing off your chosen venue/s to their fullest potential.

What about posed group photos?

Almost all of Nic's couples request a few formal posed group shots at some point during the day. However, Nic works hard to ensure that these photos are taken in a 'time-sensitive' way, to ensure all the important people are captured, but in a quick and friendly way which creates natural, happy looking images for you.

Who will photograph our wedding and how many photographers will be present?

Limiting the number of weddings Nic photographs in a year, ensures that he is able to offer a completely 'personal' service to his couples. Nic is a full-time professional, award-winning wedding photographer, and the only photographer who will capture the story of your day.

Working alone ensures that he is able to remain an unobtrusive observer during the day. When previously working with a second photographer and/or assistants, Nic found that guests looked to the 'team' of photographers swarming everywhere for direction/instruction.

When more than one photographer is present, the atmosphere of the day is very different and it becomes increasingly difficult for the photographers to remain unobtrusive enough not to affect the actual story of your day, something Nic works hard to avoid.

How will our photos be presented?

Most couples prefer to invest in one of our popular album packages. With three contemporary and very different styles of album available from the world's finest suppliers in the UK and Australia, you are sure to find the perfect presentation option for the story of your special day.

For those couples who do not wish to invest
in a uniquely designed album, we can offer a 'print only' package, together with two different 'digital packages' where the images are supplied as high resolution files on a CD with printing license.

Who will design our wedding album and will you retouch our photos?

Nic is the only person who will design your unique album from scratch. He does not send off a disc of images to an album company to be designed for you. This ensures that each and every album he designs truly reflects the story of each wedding in a completely unique way.

Nic does not use software templates for his album design, instead using your favourite images and starting the design of each album from scratch. This ensures that your album is unique to your day, and will never look like anyone else's wedding album.

All images selected for use in our albums or ordered as prints will go through extensive retouching to ensure that you look your best in your photos
.

How much of our wedding day will you photograph
?

This depends on how much of the day you want covered. We have two basic levels of coverage, with the most popular including all-day coverage of your preparations, the ceremony and your reception up to the end of your last speech without any time restrictions.

What are your wedding photography prices?

Complete album packages start from £1,495, with non-album and last-minute packages starting from £995. Prices are fixed at the time you confirm your booking with a minimum £300 booking fee, to secure your date.

Do your packages include the digital files?

Our two digital packages include the original image files on a CD, and our standard album packages include all images as a digital slide-show on DVD.

If you wish to purchase the digital files from your day with an album package, these are of course available, but we treat them as any other product, and so they are charged for separately.

Do you photograph winter weddings?

Yes. Nic is usually as busy in Dec and Jan as he is in Jul and Aug. For more information on this specialist area of wedding photography, click here.

How far will you travel to photograph a wedding?

Nic has photographed weddings as far away as Japan, but more usually across Wales and the UK, from his South Wales base on the M4 corridor between Cardiff and Swansea.

We have a specialist 'Destination wedding photography package' available for weddings overseas
.

If you are getting married in South Wales (Newport to Cardigan,) we do not charge you for traveling to your wedding. (Weddings further afield may be subject to a small mileage charge.)
