What is 'Event Photography'?
Professional studio quality photographs of your event printed on-site and ready for your guests to take away with them by the end of the event. It gives your guests the opportunity to have a professional photographer take a studio quality photo of them, that's printed at lab quality and ready for collection before the event has finished. A perfect memento of a great day or night out.
How much will it cost us?
Usually nothing! If the majority of your guests are couples and you have a minimum number of people, we do not charge you for providing this service to your guests and usually cover our attendance costs by charging your guests per print purchased, or by asking event organisers to pre-sell a small number of prints in advance of the event to ensure that we are able to cover our costs.
Print prices start from £10 each for a 7 x 5 inch print with luxury mount. For events with less than 100 guests there may be a small attendance fee payable. For all types of events we charge for any mileage over 30 miles at 55p per mile. Please see our pricing structure below for more details based on the type of event you're planning and the number of guests attending.

What events do you cover?
Corporate parties/functions: For corporate events we charge a flat-rate attendance fee, which will include a set number of prints so that guests do not need to purchase prints themselves at the event. No minium number of guests is required.
Charity events: For charity events with a minimum of 100 guests, we simply charge for each photo taken on the night. With less than 100 guests, there may be an attendance fee payable. For events with over 150 guests, we can donate a percentage of the print payments to the event's charity.
Black tie/dinner dances: For black tie/dinner dance events with a minimum of 100 guests, we ask the event organiser to pre-sell a minimum of 20 prints in advance of the event. Tokens are supplied to the organiser for these pre-paid prints to be used on the night. Further prints can then be paid for in the usual way, at the time they are taken.
School/College/University Balls/Proms: For these events with a minimum of 100 guests, we ask the event organiser to pre-sell a minimum of 20 prints in advance of the event. Tokens are supplied to the organiser for these pre-paid prints to be used on the night. Further prints can then be paid for in the usual way at the event, at the time they are taken.
Private parties and other events: For private parties and other events with a minimum of 100 guests, we ask the event organiser to pre-sell a minimum of 20 prints in advance of the event. Tokens are supplied to the organiser for these pre-paid prints to be used on the night. Further prints can then be paid for in the usual way, at the time they are taken. Alternatively we can charge a flat-rate attendance fee which will include a set number of prints.
Sports events: For sports events with a minimum of 150 competitors, we usually charge a small attendance fee and then for each photo purchased at the event, but can offer a flat-rate package which includes an attendance fee and one print per competitor if preferred. Contact us for more info.
How is everything set up on the day?
We bring a fully portable photographic studio to your event including a backdrop, lights and professional mini-lab. Prints are supplied in high quality card mounts and paid for on being photographed. Pricing is determined based upon location and type of event being covered, but print prices usually start from £10 for a 7 x 5 inch print.
Upon collection of prints guests are able to purchase extra copies of their photo if they wish. Extra prints will be printed at the end of the night.
We do not use hard-selling and guests are never forced to have their photos taken. The service is for those people who wish to take part in the fun.
We can photograph people on their own, in couples or small groups of friends/family up to a maximum number of 6 people.
How much space will your portable studio take up on the day?
We generally require a space of around 20 x 20 feet, so will cause minimal disruption to your event. All that we ask event organisers to consider is that we are placed near to power sockets for our lighting and printing equipment, and somewhere obvious for your guest to be able to find/see us easily. What size prints can you offer?
We usually supply 7 x 5 inch prints as we have found these to be the most popular size for event photography. However, if requested we can supply the larger 8 x 6 inch prints instead. (Please note that we can only supply once size of print at each event.)
Can photos be viewed or purchased after the event?
When specifically requested, your event photos can be made available for viewing from our website within 24 hours. From here, extra copies can be ordered. However, our experience has shown us over the years that it's the immediacy of being able to take away prints on the day/night of the event itself that's most popular. When making event photos available for viewing from our website after the event has finished, we see very few resulting prints ordered and have to charge more per print to cover processing, admin and postage costs..
Do you offer complimentary prints?
Of course! We can offer up to three complimentary prints to our event organisers on the day of the event itself, so if you've put all the hard work into the event yourself, just come along and see us for your free print.
