It was my pleasure to capture the story of Alessia and David’s wedding last Saturday at Churchills Hotel and Castell Coch in Cardiff, South Wales, UK.
The story of the day began with Alessia’s preparations at Churchills Hotel in Cardiff, before I left for the trip north towards Castell Coch just a few miles outside of Cardiff, to meet David and the guys.
This fantastic Swiss style ‘chocolate box’ castle was surrounded by mist and light rain, but still looked majestic and magical. A favourite Cardiff wedding venue for the rich and famous, Castell Coch is a popular high end wedding location.
After a lovely civil ceremony, we braved the rain outside in the main courtyard for a few family group shots, and then toured the castle’s steps and ramparts for David and Alessia’s bride and groom photos.
Once the rain had been joined by a cold wind it was time to take shelter in the car and head back into Cardiff for the wedding reception at Churchills hotel. The wedding breakfast was followed by cake cutting and speeches.
