Penrice Castle Estate Marquee wedding, Gower Swansea

Friday, August 21st, 2009

It was my pleasure to photograph the wedding of Gavin and Victoria last Saturday at the stunning Penrice Castle Estate (near Penmaen Manor,) on Gower, Swansea.
After photographing Victoria’s preparations at Morgans Hotel in the SA1 district of Swansea, we moved on to the quaint St. Teilo’s Church in Bishopston Gower for the ceremony.

After the service we stopped off at a private location overlooking Caswell Bay for some photos with the car and bay in the background. Despite the weather doing it’s worst, we still managed to grab some great images before the rain came down forcing us to move on.
We arrived at the Penrice Castle Estate to find a superb Marquee set on top of the hillside overlooking the valley and beautiful grounds of Penrice Castle ruins. Guests braved the rain to join us outside for a big group shot, before we returned inside to complete a few family groupings. Later the rain cleared up enough for Gavin and Victoria to take a brief stroll through the castle grounds, which allowed us to get some great Bride and Groom shots.
Thank you again to all the guests who helped with moving tables inside and outside the marquee, to ensure that the small number of formal group shots did not take too long to complete for Gavin and Victoria.
If you were at this wedding I hope you have enjoyed the ‘sneaky peak’ images above and would like to invite you to leave Gavin and Victoria a personal message below. As soon as they have returned from honeymoon and seen the photos for themselves, making their choices for their storybook album and prints, all of the images from this special day will be available to view from this page.
Have a great honeymoon and safe travelling.

King Arthur Hotel wedding, Gower Swansea

Monday, August 17th, 2009

It was my pleasure to photograph the wedding of Chris and Annell on Monday August 10th at the beautiful King Arthur Hotel on Gower near Swansea.
After starting with Annell at her parents home in Swansea, we moved onto Libannus church in nearby Morriston before making the trip down to the King Arthur Hotel in Reynoldston, Gower.

The persistent rain all day did not dampen everyone’s intention to have a wonderful day, and despite rain falling during all of the photos outside at the King Arthur, we still managed to get the family and bridal party group shots, together with the bride and groom ‘intimate’ shots, photographed outside in the beautiful grounds.

A big thank you to everyone who worked so hard to ensure that we could still photograph outside. The staff at the King Arthur and the two ushers who followed me around the grounds with umbrellas for Chris and Annell, and one more trying to keep my camera lenses dry!
If you were at this wedding I hope you have enjoyed the ‘sneaky peak’ images above and would like to invite you to leave Chris and Annell a personal message below.

All of the stunning images from this special day will be available from this page, as soon as Chris and Annell have returned from honeymoon and chosen their own images for their Jorgensen Reportage album.
Have a great honeymoon guys and safe travelling.

Newport and Cardiff Marquee wedding

Friday, August 14th, 2009

It was my pleasure to photograph the wedding of Stuart and Sally-Ann last Saturday.

After meeting Sally-Ann at the Celtic Manor Resort in Newport to photograph her preparations, we moved onto the beautiful St. Mary’s Church in Risca, for the ceremony, conducted by the Groom’s Father.

A quick dash down the M4 from Newport to Cardiff found us arriving at the stunning Duffryn Springs for a marquee reception next to a gorgeous lake in warm sunshine.
If you were at this wedding we hope you have enjoyed the early ‘sneaky-peak’ images above and would like to invite you to leave Stuart and Sally-Ann a personal message below. All of the images from this fantastic day will be available from this page, as soon as they have selected their own favourites for their Jorgensen reportage album.
Thank you for inviting me along guys. I hope you enjoy viewing the images as much as i did making them with you all.

This location-based family portrait session was a Mother’s Day gift for Elaine from one of her daughters. Click here for more information on our location-based portrait photography gift scheme.

I hope you enjoy the sneaky peak images above and would like to invite family and friends of Elaine to leave a personal message for them below.
