It was my pleasure to capture the story of Eleanor and Richard’s wedding day at the Westhouse Country Hotel in Llantwit Major, near Cardiff on Saturday.
The story of the day began at home in Barry with Eleanor’s preparations before moving a short distance into town to All Saint’s church. Photography wasn’t allowed during the service so straight afterwards Eleanor and Richard were accompanied by their bridal party down the hill to the ‘Knap’ promenade, where we battled a very strong sea wind to capture some great images of friends together.
Richard and Eleanor then made the short trip to Porth Kerry for some photos on their own, along the headland and under the amazing viaduct, which made an interesting and ‘differnet’ backdrop for many of the photos.
We then drove the short distance from Barry to Llantwit Major and the Westhouse Country Hotel for the wedding reception and breakfast, held in a marquee at the back of the hotel. Cake cutting and speeches followed the meal, with the story of the day ending late into the night.
